Rampart Range Winter Riding

Postby GregsDRZ400 » Fri Dec 25, 2009 10:31 am

Road is closed-trails are open...

Tomorrow, December 1st, Rampart Range Road will be CLOSING for the season. This
means no full size vehicles beyond the gates. Note that the trails will remain
open as long as conditions permit. It's just the road that closes.

Also be aware that there will be Hydro Axe's working on forest thinning again
this winter. If you use the area, be aware of possible heavy equipment traffic
on the road and/or the trails. Heed all warning and closure signs to avoid being
in the danger zone while they are working.

The trails are still open, anyone been up there at all? I don't think it would be any fun at all on a heavier bike but a lighter bike would be fun!
